Training and coaching
You’re a great company, with a brilliant product or service that your customers love. You’ve got a passionate team of people who know their jobs inside out and believe in what you’re trying to do. And you ‘get’ marketing too – you understand what a difference it can make to your brand.
But you’re not growing – or at least not as fast as you’d like.
Why? Because there are gaps in knowledge or skills that are preventing things from really taking off.
And yes, you can bring me into to fill those gaps as an ICMO. And I will make a big difference.
But I can also help you to develop and train the talent that you already have in-house, to set you up for sustainable long term growth. Here’s a quick overview of how I help businesses like yours to unlock potential with coaching and training.
1-on-1 training
It might be training one of your leaders in a specific area of communications. Or coaching someone as they start a new leadership role in your marketing team. Or, simply being a mentor and a critical friend for a micro business owner. Individual, 1-on-1 sessions are a powerful way to strengthen skills in a particular area. Perfect for when you need to quickly hone in on a development gap.
In-house training for groups
Group training sessions are always enjoyable. I love the dynamics and the shared energy you get when you bring people together to develop. A typical session might be training up your teams on email marketing, looking at how to turn your contacts into sales. Or, bringing together your senior leaders for a customer journey digital masterclass.
Training for third parties
There’s a lot of funding available to support small businesses, whether it’s from the EU or the government. And I’m proud to be a trainer for many of the third parties who allocate this funding – whether it’s AD:VENTURE, Digital Enterprise, the regional LEP, the Chamber of Commerce or even a university.
Typically, they’ll pay me to deliver a free workshop to a local business on a specific topic. It’s a great way to help develop businesses that might otherwise struggle to invest in training and development.
